Mitsukoshi A4 - Taipei

The Taipei boutique was the first Fauré le Page store opened outside France and takes its design inspiration from a hunting lodge. While the flaky oak finish of the décor is reminiscent of tree bark, the interior is filled with deer elements in a nod to the endemic Sika species that crowns the wooded hills of Taiwan. An exceptional grand trophy from the 19th century in the Forêt Noire style graces the wall behind the welcome desk. The console at the entrance and the chandelier crafted from gilded deer antlers are the works of renowned French artisans.
