Bistrot
Spring-Summer 2026
Fauré Le Page unveils a new addition to its Spring-Summer 2026 collection and celebrates the Parisian art of connection with a newly created limited edition: Bistrot.
The Maison takes its inspiration from one of the hallmarks of the French lifestyle: the bistro. The bistro is the cornerstone of the Parisian lifestyle, with its continuous whirlwind of appointments and chance encounters, laughter and tears, quick coffees and protracted conversations.

BISTROT SCALE CANVAS
HERITAGE & CANNAGE
The story of the Scale Canvas intertwines with that of the iconic cannage of the cane-woven bistro chair. Both were born of the same exacting standard: the union of esthetics and utility, beauty and durability, to ensure they stand the test of time, day after day and season after season. Their patterns engage in a natural dialogue and share the same taste for color. Scales appeared on the most prestigious arms of the first Maison Fauré Le Page. Today they grace our signature Scale Canvas.

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS
One of the historic shops of the first Fauré Le Page Maison was located at 8 Rue de Richelieu in the former Café Minerve, a centerpiece of neighborhood life around the Palais-Royal. This founding heritage lends the Maison a penchant for gatherings and conviviality that are still part of the brand identity.
Later, the bistro would earn its place in Parisian legend. Its origins date back to the nineteenth century, when Russian soldiers stationed in Paris after the fall of Napoleon’s Empire urged café owners to serve them “bystro”: quickly! The word quickly entered the vernacular to refer to these simple, lively places that are truly the stage on which Parisian life plays out.
