Inspired by Raoul Dufy’s majestic and colorful fresco, La Fée Électricité, painted in 1937, Creative Director Augustin de Buffévent reinterprets the Maison’s signature Scale Canvas with a mischievous touch. Named Paris by Night, this material evokes the halos of light that illuminate the skies above the city. Here, the logos are lit up in joyful neon shades of blue, yellow, green, and purple, and appear to be dancing after dark against the Powder Black canvas of selected products.

For this nocturnal version of the Scale Canvas, the screen-printing technique required a succession of eight printing frames (one per color), which is twice as many as the other versions of the Maison’s canvas, further highlighting the complexity and extreme precision of this artisanal work-how.
