PRELIMINARY ARTICLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”) are those of FAURE LE PAGE MAROQUINIER (hereinafter referred to as “FLPM”), a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €1,100,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 533 296 331, whose intra-Community VAT number is FR0853329633100010, and whose contact details are as follows:
- Registered office: 21, rue Cambon, 75001 Paris, France;
- Telephone: +33 (0)6 47 32 03 39;
- Email: arthur@faurelepage.com.
FLPM designs, manufactures, and markets leather goods worldwide, protected by intellectual property rights, including trademark rights.
In order to better meet customer expectations, FLPM has set up, in addition to its physical points of sale, an online sales system for a selection of its Articles, accessible via an Online Store on its website.
The Client is informed that FLPM works with Global-e for the sale of Products and associated services available on the Site. Global-e is FLPM’s sales facilitation partner, operating this Site. FLPM has entered into an agreement with Global-e allowing Global-e to act as the merchant of record.
Accordingly, the sales contract relating to the purchase of Products and associated services is concluded between the Client and Global-e (in its capacity as seller). Working with Global-e allows FLPM to offer, in many countries, the possibility to purchase Products and associated services in the local currency and at a price including all applicable sales taxes (such as VAT), as well as international delivery costs and, where applicable, import duties or taxes imposed by the country of delivery. The contractual conditions applicable to the sale, payment, invoicing, taxes and duties, and international delivery are those of Global-e and are available at the following link.
FLPM remains responsible, in its capacity as manufacturer, for the authenticity and quality of the Products, and ensures customer service relations and after-sales service in accordance with these GTC. By placing an order on this site, the Client accepts both Global-e’s terms and conditions of sale and these GTC of FLPM relating to products, sales, returns, and customer service.
In the event of any contradiction between these GTC and Global-e’s terms and conditions regarding matters falling under the seller’s responsibility (payment, taxes/duties, international delivery, financial refunds), Global-e’s terms and conditions shall prevail. For matters relating to the Product, authenticity, usage advice, and brand after-sales service, these GTC shall apply.

2.1. These GTC apply to the sale of Articles concluded in the FLPM Online Store with any Client, whether for their own account or for any Third-Party Beneficiary, and for all delivery points located in the Countries, in accordance with the conditions detailed below.
The Client is expressly informed that FLPM sells Articles from the Online Store only to retailers and end consumers. Any acquisition of Articles for resale purposes is strictly prohibited. Consequently, prior to any order, the Client certifies that the purchase of Articles in the Online Store is strictly intended for personal and domestic use and is not directly related to a commercial activity.
2.2. FLPM expressly recommends that the Client carefully read these GTC before placing an order, as well as the Global-e GTC, acting as merchant of record, available at the following link. The FLPM GTC may be consulted at any time on the FLPM website, in the “GTC” section at the bottom of the page.
By ordering one or more Articles from FLPM, the Client is deemed to have fully accepted these GTC as well as those of Global-e.
The GTC applicable to the sale are those in force on the date the order is placed by the Client in the Online Store.
FLPM reserves the right to amend and update the GTC at any time, with the new GTC applying to any order placed after their entry into force.
These GTC apply without prejudice to the General Terms of Use governing access to and navigation on the Site, which may be consulted at any time on the Site.
ARTICLE 3: DESCRIPTION AND AVAILABILITY OF ARTICLES IN THE ONLINE STORE
3.1. In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular Article L.111-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Client is expressly informed that, prior to placing an order, they may consult information (categories, names, characteristics, definitions, composition, etc.), as well as illustrations and photographs, relating to all Articles offered for sale online on the Site, including in the Online Store.
3.2. FLPM also offers Clients the possibility of personalizing certain Articles by adding medals (letters and symbols), colored leather ties, or hot stamping, and of purchasing the personalized Article themselves via the Online Store. Given the multitude of possible combinations, the illustrations of these Articles presented in the Online Store are not exact photographic reproductions of the Personalized Articles, but rather 3D image renderings.
3.3. In general, although FLPM endeavors to ensure the accuracy of Article descriptions and all data available on the Site, including in the Online Store, and updates them regularly, FLPM cannot be held liable for minor and non-substantial errors that may occur.
Likewise, although FLPM takes the greatest care in presenting photographs and illustrations of the Articles on the Site, including 3D models, making them as faithful as possible—particularly in terms of colors and materials, within the limits of technology and according to market best practices—minor variations may occur in their reproduction in the Online Store, which the Client acknowledges and accepts.
It is also specified that certain site accessibility features may alter the visual rendering if activated.
Furthermore, the packaging of delivered Articles may differ from that shown in the Online Store. FLPM cannot be held liable in such cases.
For any doubt or additional information regarding the characteristics of an Article, the Client may contact FLPM Customer Service, whose contact details appear in Article 12.1 of these GTC, or via the “Contact” tab on the Site.
The postal address, telephone number, email address, and opening hours of the flagship boutique are indicated on the Site at the following URL: https://faurelepage.com/blogs/stores/boutique-cambon.
3.5. Offers and prices for FLPM Articles are valid as long as they are visible in the Online Store, subject to available stock.
In the event of product unavailability, the Client is invited to enter their email address in the “Join the waiting list” section of the unavailable product page in order to be informed when it is back in stock.
In the “Contact” section of the Site, the Client may also contact Customer Service to obtain an alternative solution, in particular to be put in touch with a boutique likely to supply the missing Article.
Errors or changes may exceptionally occur, particularly in the event of simultaneous orders of the same Article by several Clients. In the event of unavailability after an order has been placed, FLPM will inform the Client by email or telephone and will propose either a replacement Article or total or partial cancellation of the order. In the event of total or partial cancellation, the Client’s bank account will not be debited for the amounts corresponding to unavailable Articles or will be refunded within fourteen (14) days following cancellation.
3.6. FLPM reserves the right to modify the Articles offered for sale in the Online Store at any time and without prior notice.
3.7. In accordance with Article L.121-11 of the French Consumer Code, FLPM may refuse any order deemed abnormal, in particular where:
(i) the Client seeks to purchase a quantity of Articles disproportionate to their domestic needs;
(ii) the Client requests unusual delivery or payment conditions;
(iii) or in the event of an error or misunderstanding regarding the order.
More specifically, any order for more than three (3) identical Articles or more than ten (10) Articles in total shall be considered abnormal.
FLPM may also refuse any order from a Client involved in a dispute concerning payment of a previous order, failing to comply with these GTC, or engaging in fraudulent behavior, and will inform the Client by email of the legitimate reasons for such refusal.
If the Client does not correct incorrect elements or those contrary to the GTC appearing in their order, FLPM reserves the right to cancel the order. In the event of total or partial cancellation, the Client’s bank account will not be debited or will be refunded within fourteen (14) days following cancellation.
ARTICLE 4: ORDER PROCEDURE
4.1. 4.2. The Client shall bear telecommunication costs, including the cost of Internet access to the Site and the Online Store.
4.3. Online ordering is also subject to strict compliance with the procedures indicated by FLPM to the Client, and in particular these GTC.
4.4. The Client is invited to select Articles in the Online Store and add them to their virtual shopping cart by clicking “ADD TO CART.”
At any time prior to confirmation, the Client may review the contents of their virtual cart, including selected Articles, by clicking on the cart icon at the top right of the Online Store, and remove Articles if necessary using the “DELETE” button.
Provided that the browsing history is not deleted and the same browser is used, the virtual cart is retained for fourteen (14) days to allow the Client to complete the order later.
4.5. After selecting the desired Articles, the Client must review the details of their order and click the “GO TO CHECKOUT” button.
Beyond this stage, Global-e’s GTC apply to payment and delivery. These GTC may be consulted by clicking on the link provided by FLPM.
ARTICLE 5: PRICES
5.1. Prices of Articles are displayed in a manner that may vary depending on the Client’s delivery location. Prices are generally indicated in the local currency and communicated to the Client at three distinct stages during the ordering process:
- when selecting the country via the country selector;
- on product pages and in the cart during the order process;
- at payment, with the final total amount due.
The currency is identified by its international ISO code (ISO 4217). Depending on the delivery location, applicable taxes and/or duties may or may not be included in the displayed price. The Client will always be informed of their specific tax and customs obligations several times prior to finalizing the order:
- next to the cart button during checkout;
- at the time of payment, before finalizing the order.
Delivery costs will be indicated to the Client before order confirmation and shall remain at the Client’s expense, unless expressly stated otherwise and notified to the Client at FLPM’s discretion.
5.2. FLPM reserves the right to modify Article prices at any time and without prior notice. Articles are invoiced based on prices in force at the time of the order, subject to availability.
5.3. Depending on the delivery country, taxes, customs duties, and import fees may be due. Their calculation, collection, and, where applicable, adjustment in the event of a return are specified at Checkout and in Global-e’s GTC.
ARTICLE 6: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS – PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
6.1. The Intellectual Property Rights constituting and/or appearing on FLPM Articles sold in the Online Store, their accessories or packaging, as well as the graphic interface of the Site, including the Online Store and all its components and content, whether registered or not, remain the exclusive property of FLPM or of any third party having licensed their use.
6.2. Any reproduction, modification, adaptation, or total or partial use of these Intellectual Property Rights, for any reason and on any medium whatsoever, without FLPM’s prior written authorization, is strictly prohibited in all territories. The same applies to any combination or association with any other brand, symbol, logo, text, or distinctive sign intended to form a composite logo.
6.3. The databases accessible on the Site, of which FLPM is the producer or operator, are protected against any qualitatively or quantitatively substantial extraction or reuse of their content by any unauthorized third party.
6.4. Any Client infringing Articles 6.1, 6.2, or 6.3 shall be immediately barred from accessing the Site, including the Online Store, shall no longer be able to order Articles via this channel, and must delete any unlawful reproduction of content protected by FLPM.
6.5. In order to provide Clients with a service tailored to their needs, FLPM creates an electronic file processing certain personal data relating to Clients and, where applicable, Third-Party Beneficiaries, provided in connection with orders.
FLPM complies with all applicable laws on personal data protection, in particular the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and French Law No. 78/17 “Informatique et Libertés.”
The Client is invited to consult FLPM’s Personal Data Protection Policy.
For orders subject to international Checkout, Global-e processes certain personal data in its capacity as seller (Merchant of Record) and for payment, invoicing, tax compliance, and delivery purposes. Detailed information (purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, transfers, and data subject rights) is set out in the privacy documentation made available by Global-e at Checkout, in addition to FLPM’s Personal Data Protection Policy.
6.6. The Client must ensure the security of their transactions and the confidentiality of their login credentials and password. FLPM cannot be held liable in the event of disclosure or fraudulent use resulting from the Client’s negligence.
6.7. FLPM uses cookies on the Site to improve the Client experience. The Client is invited to refer to FLPM’s Personal Data Protection Policy for further information.
6.8. FLPM undertakes to retain any sales contract with a value equal to or greater than €120 for ten (10) years and guarantees access to it for any Client who so requests.
ARTICLE 7: RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, CONDITIONS AND CONSEQUENCES
7.1. The Client has a statutory right of withdrawal of thirty (30) days from the day following receipt of the ordered Articles, without justification and without costs other than those provided for in the GTC. If the period expires on a public holiday or non-working day, it is extended until the next working day.
The right of withdrawal benefits exclusively the Client and may not be exercised by a Third-Party Beneficiary.
For special orders of personalized Articles, the right of withdrawal does not apply in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code; however, statutory warranties remain applicable (Article 12 of the GTC).
7.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Client must expressly notify FLPM of their decision, either:
- by email or postal mail to FLPM Customer Service (Article 12.1), or via the withdrawal form in the appendix;

7.3. The Client may return the Articles for reimbursement in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 8 of the GTC.
ARTICLE 8: RETURNS AND REFUNDS
8.1. The Client has thirty (30) days after receipt to request the return of unsuitable Articles by contacting FLPM Customer Service.
8.2. Articles must be returned within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days after notification of withdrawal, in their original packaging, in perfect condition, unused, and accompanied by all accessories and documents (certificate of authenticity, dust bags, invoice, etc.). Global-e provides a prepaid return label; no return shipping or customs fees shall be borne by the Client.
Incomplete, damaged, or soiled Articles will not be refunded. Any complimentary items received as part of a promotion must be returned; otherwise, their value will be deducted from the refund.
8.3. If these conditions are met, reimbursement of the Articles and delivery costs will be made within fourteen (14) days following receipt, it being specified that the processing of taxes/duties and any adjustments depends on the country of delivery and the Global-e GTC applicable to the order.
ARTICLE 9: STATUTORY WARRANTIES OF CONFORMITY AND AGAINST HIDDEN DEFECTS
9.1. The Articles are subject to the statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code). Any claim must be submitted to FLPM Customer Service with photographs of the Articles concerned.
9.2. Upon receipt, the Client must verify the conformity and condition of the Articles. Any visible damage or anomaly must be reported in writing to the carrier and to Customer Service.
9.3. The warranty of conformity applies for two (2) years from delivery. The Client may request repair or replacement of the Articles. If this is impossible, the Client may return the Article for a refund or keep it with a partial refund. Costs relating to this warranty are borne by FLPM.
9.4. The warranty against hidden defects may be exercised within two (2) years from discovery of the defect, allowing the Client to return the Article for a refund or to keep it with a price reduction.
9.5. Articles returned under the statutory warranties must be returned promptly to Customer Service.
9.6. Refunds include the price paid, as well as the delivery and return costs initially borne by the Client, within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days after receipt by FLPM.
9.7. Any Article repaired under the warranty of conformity benefits from a six (6)-month warranty extension (Article L.217-13 of the French Consumer Code).

ARTICLE 14: MISCELLANEOUS
14.1. If any provision of the GTC is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain applicable.
14.2. The fact that FLPM does not enforce a provision at a given time shall not constitute a waiver of its rights.
